Island, I have held a variety of positions at several companies in
diverse industries. This has afforded me a breadth of experience in
different fields.
I am very familiar with various Unix and Unix-like operating systems
(principally Solaris and various flavors GNU/Linux), as well as some
older versions of Windows. My experience is wide and varied,
encompassing many aspects of system acquisition, integration,
maintenance, programming, and deployment. I have experience with
firmware and embedded systems development, real time motor control,
USB and Ethernet.
