This Dell-provided Ubuntu version is going to go. It wasn't all that bad – I kind of liked the little launcher thingy. The thing which put me over the edge is the rebranding of Firefox. Sure, sign an agreement with Yahoo and install their toolbar – easy enough to pull out, but a custom repackage of Firefox to avoid licensing problems? I understand it, but lame.
Anyway, it looks like the 8.10 netbook remix has more pretty anyway.
